The Rolling Stones Share Details About First Album Without Charlie Watts
The Rolling Stones have been cooking up a brand new album after 18 years, which will also be their first without the band’s late drummer, Charlie Watts. Since August 30, teasers for ‘Hackney Diamonds’ have been released from the band’s IG, like ‘Don’t Get Angry With Me,’ a website that promises a snippet from a track but purposefully angers the fans.
Recently, they posted a collaborative video with Jimmy Fallon and announced that they will be promoting the new album with an interview with Jimmy. The caption read:
“‘Hackney Diamonds’ to the world. Rolling Stones live with Jimmy Fallon this Wednesday, Sept 6th, 2023. Talking new album, new music, new era. Streaming globally on Rolling Stones’ YouTube channel.”
The band also stated, regarding the album:
“Hackney may be at the heart of ‘Hackney Diamonds,’ but this is a truly global moment we want to share with fans around the world via YouTube.”
The interview and ‘Hackney Diamond’s’ debut will be on September 6, at 2:30 p.m. BST, 9:30 a.m. EST and 6:30 a.m. PST. You can check the IG post here.
